The original Book of Shadows was a collection of notes and scrolls describing the attributes and assumed location of a wide variety of ancient artifacts and other secrets. Since its original appearance, the book was copied, edited, and added to many times, to a point where it would be impossible to say what part of any copy was found in the original Book of Shadows, and what wasn’t.
The status of any piece of information in the book is suspect until it is investigated, and you discover for yourself if there’s truth to it, or not. It might be 99% lies and fabrications.
